The part that moves fastest, and matters most, is entry. Cyprus entry requirements depend on your nationality, on the documents you actually hold, on the route you take and on the date you arrive, and those four variables change independently of one another. Read them in the official government advice for Cyprus, not in a summary written around somebody else's passport, and read them again if your routing changes after you book. Nicosia is built here on four editorial themes, heritage, culture, nature, and food and local life, and that is not filing for its own sake. Which theme leads your visit is the single most consequential choice you make in a capital, because the same two days spent under a heritage lens and under a food-and-local-life lens produce two genuinely different trips, with different hours, a different rhythm and a different kind of tiredness at the end of them.
The second thing this tab does is draw a hard line down the middle of the page. On one side sit the facts that hold still: what kind of city this is, which themes it rewards, how a first visit is best sequenced. On the other sit fares, schedules, entry conditions and day-to-day operations, everything that can be true on Tuesday and wrong by Thursday. We do not blend the two. A guide that mixes a stable structural observation with a fare it read six months ago is a guide that ages badly in silence and takes the reader down with it.
So use the themes to decide what kind of trip you want, and use dated official sources for anything carrying a number or a time. The tab is deliberately honest at every moment about which half it is handing you, and at this stage that honesty is the most useful thing it owns.

Paphos is attached, inside the destination architecture, to the Cyprus country entity. It inherits the country's framing, its entry logic and its heritage baseline rather than standing alone, and that inheritance is exactly why this tab does not restate the national picture. Read the country page first, then read this as the local layer sitting on top of it.
What the local layer does not yet include is names. Districts, quarters and attractions in Paphos require a local official-source pass before they can be activated as production identifiers, and until that pass is complete this page will not name them. It is a deliberate refusal. A plausible-sounding neighbourhood name is the easiest thing in the world to write and one of the hardest for a reader to check, and a name that later turns out to be a brochure invention or an outdated administrative label costs far more trust than it ever bought in attention.
What you can plan around in the meantime is structure: a central visitor area, a heritage and cultural area, and a secondary base for travellers who want distance from the busiest streets. Those are three roles a stay can play, and choosing the role is a decision fully available to you now. Attaching the correct name to each role is the work still in progress, and it will be published when it is sourced.
